CHANGE OF ORDER OF INTEGRATION
Method :
Type – 1 :
1. If variable limit are of y; it means it is given that strip is parallel to y-axis.
2. Now, make a strip parallel to x-axis.
3. Now, put the limit according to the new strip.
Example :
Solution –
The region of integration is bounded by y = 0, y = x, x = 0, x = a
Type – 2 :
1. If variable limit are of y; it means it is given that strip is parallel to y-axis.
2. Now, make a strip parallel to x-axis.
3. Now, put the limit according to the new strip.
Example :
Solution –
The region of integration is bounded by y = 0, y = a, x = 0, x = y
