GATE General Aptitude topics – Must Do
GATE – General Aptitude, if prepared well enough can really be a game changer for a candidate to achieve a good score to get into a desired institute. In GATE, with a total of 10 questions of General Aptitude where 5 questions carry 1 mark each and the rest of the 5 questions carry 2 marks each. From a total of 15 marks, one can easily try and score 10-12 marks. The General Aptitude section consists of questions based on Numerical Aptitude, Verbal Aptitude & Reasoning. These includes the following topics –

Modern Math – Sequence & Series, Polynomials, Set Theory, Permutation & Combination Analytical Reasoning – Blood Relations, Direction Sense, Arrangements, Series, Clocks & Calendars, Ranking, Cubes & Dices, Puzzles, Coding- Decoding, Syllogisms Data Interpretation – Tables, Line Graph, Pie Chart, Bar Graph, Double Pie Charts, Combinations of Graphs |
Verbal Aptitude/ English
