Sequence of Real Numbers
A sequence of real number is a function ‘f’ whose domain is the set N of all natural numbers and range is a subset of R. In other words, a sequence on a set R is a rule which assigns to each natural number, a unique element of R. A sequence is usually denoted by {an} or <an> where f(n) = an, an is called nth term of the sequence.
Limit point of a sequence:
A real number is said to be limit point of the sequence iff every neighbourhood of contains infinitely many terms of the sequence.
Limit of a sequence:
If a bounded sequence has unique limit point then this limit point is called limit of sequence
