Here are some habits that hinder a person’s intelligence. This can be helpful to a school going student, to a college going student, to an aspirant preparing for any type of competitive exam to overcome these draining activities.
Lamentation – Thinking and regretting past mistakes and situations which cannot be changed in any way, can drain some part of our efficiency. One loses precious time in the present by overthinking about something that cannot be changed. Keep in mind the mistakes and pledge to never repeat them instead of regretting it in the present.
Not following a proper schedule – Basically not having control over your routine. One must keep a track of one’s habits as it helps to manage time. It shows that the person is responsible and serious with respect to their aspects in life.
Daydreaming – People often have big dreams but when it comes to working towards them, they fail to do so. They tend to daydream and waste their present moment instead of working hard for their goals.
Pleasing Others – One must focus on oneself and stop pleasing others. It should not matter what others say or do, one must keep their journeys in mind and follow their paths.
Starting your day with a phone – Starting your day off by looking at your phone can instantly fill your head with a lot of unnecessary thoughts and progressions. It is scientifically proven to be one of the most draining activities.
Anger and Arrogance – Always being in a state of anger or arrogance naturally is strenuous for the brain and it is not a healthy habit. So it is wise to drop them and practice healthy habits.
